Privacy policy

The Golden Key Mallorca collects and processes personal information only to manage account access, booking requests, residence details, follow-up communication, and service coordination.

Data may include identity details, preferred contact method, email address, phone number, messages submitted through the public contact form, service request information, and address details required for the booking process. This data is used only to answer the request, coordinate the requested service, and provide legitimate operational follow-up.

When a service is coordinated with an external provider, only the information strictly necessary for service delivery is shared. The Golden Key Mallorca acts as an intermediary and limits data sharing to what is operationally required.

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting info@thegoldenkeymallorca.com, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

Registered clients can delete their account directly from the client profile in the app by selecting “Delete my account”. If access to the account is no longer possible, the same request can be sent to info@thegoldenkeymallorca.com from the email address linked to the account.

On the public site, essential cookies remember language and consent choices. If analytics is accepted, Google Analytics and our own cookie-free journey measurement are enabled. Our measurement stores only daily aggregate category counts, with no identifier, address, free text or financial data.

The public coverage checker sends the entered address or postcode to Google Places only to identify coordinates and a general service area. The Golden Key Mallorca does not store this entry; analytics receives only the coverage status and general area.

In the mobile app, Google Firebase provides authentication, database and, only after explicit consent, usage analytics. Analytics may process app interactions, device and app information, approximate location derived from the IP address, and an installation identifier. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain disabled. Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the client profile. Google Places processes addresses entered for service coverage or booking only to resolve the requested place.

Account, profile and booking data is kept while the account or request remains active and is deleted or anonymized when the account is deleted, except for records that must be retained by law. Accounting, tax and supporting business documents may be kept for up to six years from the last relevant entry. Google Analytics event data is retained for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn; Android tester requests are deleted when access management is no longer required.

Newsletter subscriptions submitted through the public site are stored with proof of consent, language, and subscription date so that The Golden Key Mallorca can send occasional updates and maintain a compliant subscriber list.

Android test access requests are stored separately with the email address, language, page, and request date so that The Golden Key Mallorca can manage Google Play tester invitations.
